Spanish superstar in the making, Crusy, has been on a meteoric rise since his Toolroom Trax release ‘Selecta’ blew him up on dance floors across the World in 2022 with support from Carl Cox, Nic Fanciulli & John Summit. Since then, he has signed with Toolroom management and is releasing frequently on Defected, Claptone’s Golden Recordings and Danny Howard’s Nothing Else Matters whilst collaborating with the likes of HUGEL, Dombresky and Low Steppa racking up an impressive 20m streams in the process. His diary is jam-packed with shows all over the world including USA, Ibiza, Mexico, Canada and more.
His latest toolroom outing, ‘Hey Girls, B-Boys’ hits that sweet spot where the underground meets the accessible. It’s a peak-time, acid-laced Tech House roller that borders on Techno at times, with that ‘Hey Boy, Hey Girl’ vocal sample made famous by The Chemical Brothers in 1999. A DJ’s dream record, this is a huge moment for Crusy!
Keeping in tune with this milestone, this week’s Select Cuts feature’s Crusy’s live set from Toolroom’s thrilling showcase in Austin at The Concourse Project. Enjoy!
