From September 24 to 28, MAPP Montréal, the festival of video projections in public spaces, returns for its 9th edition under the theme Perspectives, an invitation to delve into the complex intricacies of multiple perceptions of reality. In a world where advances in artificial intelligence are overturning our paradigms, our perspectives intertwine, overlap and sometimes conflict, forming a tumultuous kaleidoscope of subjective truths.
The Digital Block Party, the Festival’s flagship event, remains true to its roots, offering a festive program of video projections, electronic music performances and food kiosks, all in a neighborhood party atmosphere. New this year, MAPP joins forces with the Skateboard Montréal association to present a skateboarding initiation workshop for all, and a “jam” competition for the more enthusiastic. The event takes place at 5855 Boul. St-Laurent at the iconic Van Horne skatepark.
