Ultra Music Festival concluded its sold-out 23rd edition in 2023 at the iconic Bayfront Park with one of its most successful renditions to date. The highly coveted festival welcomed 165,000 attendees from over 100 countries and the #ULTRALIVE stream reached 42 million viewers across the weekend. Shortly after, the festival announced its return to Bayfront Park from Friday, March 22 – Sunday, March 24, 2024.
Ultra has now unveiled its star-studded Phase 1 lineup for the 2024 installment which includes more than 20 Miami-exclusive performances, reaffirming the festival’s legacy as a world-renowned curator of genre-crossing electronic music talent.
Global electronic music superstar Calvin Harris will make a triumphant return to Ultra Music Festival in Miami for the first time since 2013. The five-time GRAMMY nominated producer is known for his prolific collaborations with artists such as Rihanna, Sam Smith, Dua Lipa, Ellie Goulding, and many more.
Following their massive sold out show at Hollywood Boulevard, energetic Catch & Release founder FISHER and Black Book Records founder Chris Lake will bring their fresh offshoot UNDER CONSTRUCTION to Ultra for the first time ever. The house music icons will join forces for a supercharged back to back set at Bayfront Park.
The festival will welcome a handful of debut headlining performances that encompass the vast spectrum of electronic music. One such set includes SVDDEN DEATH performing a debut live set alongside Space Laces and Eptic as their new collaborative project MASTERHAND, as well as his own solo DJ set.
Illustrious Dutch producer and DJ Hardwell will headline Ultra 2024 following his Main Stage set last March, and his surprise closing performance on the festival’s Main Stage in 2022. Hardwell has remained vital to the Ultra Music Festival brand both before and after his four-year-long hiatus which took place from 2018-2022.
Ultra will also welcome back world-renowned superstar Martin Garrix, who made his Ultra debut in 2014 when he was only 17 years old and has headlined nearly every edition of the festival since then (with the exception of 2018).
A State of Trance will return for another stage takeover, marking the 12th anniversary of curated performances from the genre’s most prominent talents at Ultra Music Festival.
Swiss South African deep house star Nora En Pure will return to Ultra to transport her melodic sounds across the Miami landscape, as well as to host Ultra’s first Purified stage takeover.
ULTRA Worldwide favorite Oliver Heldens will return to Ultra Miami for an exuberant performance. In 2023 alone, Heldens performed at various ULTRA Worldwide events including ULTRA Europe, ULTRA Taiwan, ULTRA Brasil, and more.
Boasting an impressive roster of bass acts, Ultra will feature earth-rattling sets from legendary Canadian duo Zeds Dead with an exclusive audiovisual performance as well as Los Angeles-based duo SLANDER. Excision will also return to Ultra for the first time since 2015. After premiering their immersive PORTALS set at Ultra Music Festival 2023, Black Tiger Sex Machine will return to the festival to present their new show concept, The Anime Show.
Ultra Music Festival will also welcome festival veterans including; Dutch international sensation Afrojack, GRAMMY-winning Dutch icon Tiësto, 2023 Brit Awards Producer of the Year and two-time GRAMMY-winning French producer David Guetta, Brazilian titan Vintage Culture, and Los Angeles-based musician, producer, and DJ Gryffin.
Ultra’s esteemed underground concept, RESISTANCE, will once again present a bevy of house and techno’s most in-demand acts across two stages: The Megastructure and The Cove.
Following her inaugural ULTRA Worldwide performance at ULTRA Japan in September, underground juggernaut Peggy Gou will make her Ultra Miami and global RESISTANCE debut with an exclusive performance. The Berlin-based artist is quickly becoming one of the most highly sought-after acts around the world with her recent hit single “It Goes Like (Nanana)” commanding international dance music charts.
