The Beams opened with a music programme, programmed by Broadwick Live in partnership with LWE, two of London’s leading promoters and musical curators. Michael Bibi hosted the season opener on October 1st, presenting his new ELOVATE club night with special guest Hot Since 82.
The Beams, Centre for New Culture, in the heart of the Royal Docks, has been created by Broadwick Live – the group behind some of the UK’s most ambitious and acclaimed venues, events and creative development projects. The venue breathes new life into a stunning 55,000sq feet industrial space that will now will act as a testbed for culture in all its forms.
The partnership reunites the team behind the landmark music season that opened Printworks London, another Broadwick venue back in 2017.
Shows later in the season include Patrick Topping and Denis Sulta, who will also be teaming up for a marathon ten-hour B2B session in The Beams’ main room as part of SIDEXSIDE, whilst audiences can expect to be dazzled by Honey Dijon’s Radiance event series, which merges flavours of house with various sub-genres of disco and more. She will be joined by Dan Shake, whose mix ranges from sparky acid to Brazilian samba, funk to heavyweight house, as well as being supported by Mr G Live, Natasha Diggs, Eliza Rose and more.
